Director of Public Relations: An ad for the conference
has been placed on Craig's List and articles have been
submitted to the VC Star. One article has run in the
Camarillo edition.

CALL TO ORDER: President Lisa Ross called the
meeting to order at 6:30 pm
PLACE: Cypress Place, Ventura, CA

Member-at-Large, Absent. No report.
President-Elect: The April meeting was announced as
the networking meeting. May's speaker will be Ronell
Wood and feature a silent auction, tropical island theme.
Past P"esident: It was agreed that registration was gratis
for the presenters. One registration is included for
sponsors.
The Nominating Committee (Shirley, Carol, Lisa)
continues to contact potential board members.
Nominations will be announced at the April meeting.
GUESTS ATTENDING: NONE
Minutes of the Previous Meeting: approved as submitted.
Summary of Action Items Discussed at This Meeting:
Director' of Finance; Mary presented the treasurer's
report.
Discussion re billing from DW Alliance.
Suggestion was made to look into alternate credit card
service to reduce fees.
President's Report:
Tabled items: None
Hospitality/Special Events: on track. Reminder to bring
auction items for May auction to April board meeting or
"fluff' party Sunday, 4/27 at 10 at Laura's house. May will
be island theme.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 7:50 pm.

Executive Secretary's Report: Denise accepted board
reservations for the April meeting.

recruitment ideas. Welcome new member Beverly
Nicholson.

Focal Points: The Spring issue will be out by the April
meeting. Reminder to submit materials ASAP.
Director of Networking: The Spirit of Networking award
will be presented at the April general meeting. Alison
agreed to write up a protocol for the Spirit award. The
buddy system is working well.
