LEADERSHIP TEAM MEETING
March 13, 2014

IN ATTENDANCE: Darian Taylor, Mary
Gabriels, Sue Osborn, Michelle McConica, ,
Anna Kittleson, Jann Huling, Micki Rickard,
Shirley Jones Snyder and Lynn Ryder.
Immediate Past President – Mary Gabriels
Guest cards not ready yet because the graphic
designer has been ill.
Mary has found nominees for all board
positions. To be announced at March
meeting.
ABSENT: Jim Nicoll, Sheila Lowe
President Darian Taylor called the meeting to
order at 6:18 pm.
Membership/Webmaster –Sheila Lowe
Report sent to Darian: Needs more blue
folders for new member packets. Darian will
ask Jim if there are anymore in storage.
Sue is calling on members who joined but
never come..gathering good information.
Sue moved that minutes of February meeting
be approved, Micki 2nd, motion carried.

Paul Scott – setup her laptop and got
Quickbooks sorted out.
Membership data being entered into database
as customer and vendor.
Special Events - Micki Rickard
April 5 fluff party at Micki’s for April 10
silent auction.
Need more donations.

Will limit to 40 or 50 baskets this time.
D & O Insurance - Due on March 9
State Farm bid on Employee Non Ownership
Liability insurance.
Jann moved that we give Sue $30 to buy
jewelry for silent auction baskets. Shirley 2nd.
Motion carried.
Jann looking for new broker for D&O and
General Liability insurance. Answer to Darian
by Monday at 5:00 pm.
Hospitality –Jann Huling
Trying other ways to pick host. This month
will try whoever has birthday closest to the
Mar. 20 meeting date.
Difficult to find volunteers to sell tickets.
Micki will be greeter for next meeting.
5, and 15 year pins to be given out at May
meeting. (10 yr. in November)
Galz Expo – Saturday April 19
There will be a sign-up sheet at the March
meeting for volunteers to work the table.
Networking- Anna Kittleson
Anna will distribute forms for nominations
for the Spirit of Networking Award to be
given in May.
Nominations needed by April board meeting.
Anna will call past recipients to come. (they
will receive a flower.)
New Business –
Sue will be table captain at WEV breakfast in
May at the Crowne Plaza.

$12.50 for proof.
$50 setup fee per color.
We will shop more bids.
