観光サイトの情報の多言語化
Multi-lingualization of tourist information on sites.
観光庁では外国人観光客が一人歩きができる社会を目指して、観光に関するサイトにおける外国語等の情報提供の促進を行っている。
実際に函館の観光サイトを幾つか調べた結果、それらのサイトは外国語での情報提供に関してはあまり良いものではないと感じた。そこ
で、本プロジェクトでは観光客側のニーズと観光客を受け入れる側のニーズに注目し、よりよい函館観光サイトの作成の可能性を探るこ
とにする。
The Japan Tourism Agency, aiming to enhance hospitality and to accommodate varied needs of tourists from abroad, is promoting to offer tourism information in foreign
languages. Investigation of Hakodate sightseeing site, however, revealed clear shortage of information in foreign languages. This project aims to develop Hakodate sightseeing
site in multiple languages, based on the grasp of the needs of tourists visiting Hakodate from abroad as well as of institutions accepting foreign tourists.

現在の函館のホームページでは多言語での情報提供をする場合、情報不足に陥っているというのが現状である。何故そのようなことに
なるのかというと、情報量の低下と情報の質の低下が見受けられる。それらを改善するために情報量の低下には言語グリッド、情報の質
の低下には調査によるニーズの把握を実装することが重要であると考える。これらを使い、よりよい函館観光サイトを制作することが本
プロジェクトの目的である。
A lot of current Hakodate tourist information sites do not support multiple languages. They are lacking both in the quantity and the quality of information. To cope with these
two aspects of shortage of information, we utilize the Language Grid technology to increase the number of languages available, and we develop our system based on the
detailed survey of tourist needs.
