vessel and 200,000 barges
 Creates thousands of direct jobs.

 Process 45% of US crude oil (which is 9% of global




supply)

Thousands of jobs
More than ¼ of all US oil jobs are in the Houston area
Average weekly wage in oil and gas is $3,407 (2013 fig)
