Rulemaking Regarding DC Ties Pursuant to SB 933, Municipally Owned Utilities Pursuant to SB 776, and NonERCOT Utilities Pursuant to HB 1535 of the 84th Legislature (R.S.); and Competitive Renewable Energy Zones
Project Description
The purpose of this rulemaking is to comport the Commission's rules to legislative changes resulting from SB 776, SB
933, and HB 1535 of the 84th Legislature, Regular Session, with respect to revising the process for Certificates of
Convenience and Necessity ("CCNs") for DC ties, municipally-owned utilities, and non-ERCOT utilities. In addition, this
rulemaking will also consider modifications to the Competitive Renewable Energy Zones (CREZ) rule.
