Daily Objective: TSW analyze poem Peso Ancestral, focus in social context & metaphors.

How will we learn it?
Learning Activities:
 Listen to poem. Analyze the structure of poem (metric and rhyme) from listening.
 Discuss meaning of the word “Ancestral”.
 Listen to song “Dicen que los hombres no deben llorar”. Discuss own opinion about lyrics,
answer: Why do you think the ideas of the songs are right or wrong.
 Read poem analyze the meaning of each verse, identify literary devices.
 Compare poem to song, and understand cultural connections.
