Activities:
 Warm-Up: Show students the number on a tire (P245/75R16). Have them
identify the meanings of parts of the numbers they know.
 Framing Question: If you put a set of tires on your car that is not the same size
as the tires your car came with, how are the car’s odometer and speedometer
readings affected?
 Groups of 3: Questions 1 – 4, then Whole –Class discussion
