Essential Questions: What is the difference of an informal and formal greeting in America vs Latin
America? How greetings and commands are different in a Latin American Country?

the meaning.
Guided Practice: - Organize binder sections.
- Visual presentation of Commands Vocabulary.
- Practice pronunciation of commands.
- Group practices commands: Listen and act out each
command.
- Pairs practice vocabulary with flashcards.
Follow up: Memorize Commands. (Student should know
ALL the vocabulary words from Greeting and Commands by
tomorrow) Write each word/phrase from Commands list. 1
time in English, 4 times in Spanish.
Assessment: Vocabulary quiz on Friday Sept.5th
Warm-up: Write a logical answer for each phrase.
Guided Practice:
- Group practices commands: Listen and act out each
command.
Independent Practice
-Pairs cut & paste phrases building logical conversations.
Translate.
Follow up: Study use of Greeting and Commands Vocabulary
for quiz on Friday.
Assessment: Vocabulary quiz on Friday Sept.5th
