Lesson Plan Spanish 1 Para empezar 9/8 through 9/12 Teacher: Diana Lara Learning Target: Use of vocabulary in context to tell time, greetings, numbers, body parts, seasons, classroom objects, and the alphabet. Essential Questions: What is the difference of an informal and formal greeting in America vs Latin America? How greetings and commands are different in a Latin American Country? Date Objective Learning Activities: Monday TS can identify Warm up: Dictado : Write the words/phrases you listen. 9/8 classroom objects Guided Practice: Learn vocabulary in Spanish with a song. TS can recite the -Explain about feminine and masculine words in Spanish (use Spanish Alphabet of articles el/la) - Visual presentation of Classroom objects vocabulary. - Practice pronunciation. - Students pass each object saying the name in Spanish. Follow up: Memorize Classroom objects and vocabulary. (Student should know ALL the vocabulary words by Wed./Thurs.) Write each word/phrase from Classroom objects. 4 times in Spanish and a picture. Assessment: Vocabulary quiz on Friday Sept.12 Binder check Wed/Thurs. Tuesday TS can identify Warm up: Dictado : Write the words you listen. Make a 9/9 classroom objects picture representing each word. TS can recite the Feedback: Review quiz answers, students register grade in Spanish Alphabet tracking sheet. TS can count numbers Guided Practice:- Visual presentation of numbers in Spanish. 1-20 in Spanish - Listening Activity (numbers and classroom objects) Independent Practice:- Pairs practice vocabulary with cards. Follow up: Study vocabulary.
