Learning Activities:
Warm up: Oral review of Spanish Alphabet.
Assessment: Students will take written paper quiz over the
alphabet. Oral test while students complete
number/vocabulary activity.
Independen practice: Students work on vocabulary / number
activity while oral test is given.
Warm up: Numbers: Copy /complete with the missing number.
Guided practice: Listening activity, identify numbers and
words in conversation. (CD)
Instruction:Teacher will introduce new vocabulary from
“Para Empezar” chapter: Telling time.
Independent Practice: Work with your partner and ask and
answer questions about the time.
Feedback: Review quiz answers, students register grade in
Review quiz answers, students register grade in tracking
sheet. (Organize binder)
Warm up: write the correct time based on the clock.
Feedback: Review quiz answers, students register grade in
tracking sheet.
Guided Practice: Students will tell each other the time using
flash cards for an oral quiz.
Guided Practice:-- Listening Activity (classroom and time) CD
Independent Practice:- study in groups of 4 vocabulary over
classroom object and time for quiz Monday (flash cards).
Follow up: Memorize Classroom objects and vocabulary.
Assessment: Vocabulary quiz classroom objects, numbers
and time on Friday
