Warm up: Review formula to say the date in Spanish.
Guided Practice: Practice identifying dates in calendar
Independent practice: Write the dates in Spanish. Share
answers with class.
Feedback: Receive test “Para empezar”, discuss answers,
register grade on “Mi progreso” sheet.
Independent Practice: Continue with Part 1 of Calendar
project. .
Follow up: Complete dates practice, due on Wed./Thurs.
Assessment: Dates, oral quiz on Wed./Thurs.
Warm up: Listen and look up for dates in calendar
displayed on the board.
Independent Practice: Work in 2nd part of calendar,
writing important dates in Spanish. Finish and decorate
project.
Assessment: Dates, oral quiz on Wed./Thurs.
Warm up: Write the dates in Spanish.
Independent Practice: Practice telling the dates from
assigned list to partner.
-Copy body parts vocabulary while taking oral quiz.
Assessment: Oral test on dates: Say 2 dates in Spanish
(only one from assigned list)
Follow up: Write each vocabulary word 5 times in Spanish,
and 1 in English.
