-Comment about Spanish traditions in movie.
Follow up:-Complete worksheet “El camino”
Opening: Warm up. Previous vocabulary related to arts.
Watch a PowerPoint of timeless art pieces of the Spanish-Speaking
world and highlight the artist and genres.
Instructional:-Presentation art vocabulary with visuals. Students try
to memorize.
Independent Practice: -Memorization (try to fill out as many words
you remember)
Guided Practice: -Complete missing/mistaken words.-Practice
pronunciation.
Closing:-Complete sentence about visual arts. (Speaking)
Follow up:-Create index cards for vocabulary 2A (due on Friday)
Opening: Warm up. Listen and write words from 2A.
Instructional:-Presentation vocabulary: arts activities / events.
-Students will suggest clues to help with memorization.
Independent Practice: -Memorization (try to fill out as many words
you remember) Students use their clues.
Guided Practice: -Complete missing/mistaken words.
-Practice pronunciation.
Independent practice: (group work)
-Students will create poster grouping vocabulary words creating
own classification.
Closing:-Answer paragraph competitions activities. (Speaking)
Follow up:-Create set of index cards for 2nd part of vocabulary (due
on Friday). Memorize words, oral quiz on Friday
Opening: Warm-up: Complete chapter 1 vocabulary chart
Independent practice: -Complete graphic organizer grouping
vocabulary words creating own classification.
-One to one oral quiz. Check homework (card sets)
Closing:Answer question about paintings. (Speaking)
Assessment: Vocabulary quiz on Monday
Follow up: Study for matching quiz vocabulary 2A&B on Monday
