Lesson Plan Pre-AP Spanish 3 11/17 through 11/21 Teacher: D. Lara Learning Target: Students learn and show the differences of the two past tenses: preterite vs imperfect. They recall conjugations for both tenses and learn how to use them in context in a music video project. Students will also continue to show comprehension and mastery of this concept by taking an evaluation over these tenses and show their reasons. Monday 11/17 -Students continue to show mastery over preterite vs imperfect Tuesday 11/18 - Students review vocabulary, use of preterit vs. imperfect and conditions for chapter test Wednesday 11/19 - Students demonstrate knowledge in art vocabulary, use of preterit vs imperfect Friday 11/21 - Students work on their art project essay Warm-up: Students conjugate in preterit and imperfect. Guided practice: Review cases imperfect vs. preterit, Independent practice: Students show mastery and take quiz preterit vs imperfect cases, and conjugation. -Write sentences (action condition), create new adjectives using known verbs. Warm up: Use of estar+ past participle Guided practice: Review grammar concepts and vocabulary. Teacher answers questions about chapter test. Independent practice: Around the world to review for test. Follow up: Study for chapter 2 test. Work on review packet. Work in art project.
