-Teacher will go over rules and expectations for this semester.
*Power point presentation over new vocabulary- 3A: Students will take notes over it.
*teacher will go over new vocabulary pronunciation.

Assessment Methods:
Checks for Understanding: Teacher will correct wrong pronunciation, while practicing

Materials: Binder, vocabulary handout.

Follow Up/HW: Study vocabulary 3A. Write each word from Vocabulary 3B 4 times in Spanish
and 1 in English

*Power point presentation over new vocabulary- 3B: Students will take notes over it.
*teacher will go over new vocabulary pronunciation.
* Students will work in pairs to classify and create Food Guide Pyramid based on vocabulary
3A&B.

Assessment Methods: accuracy of vocabulary poster.
Checks for Understanding: immediately feedback on poster (accuracy of words based on
pyramid food)

Materials: Paper, colors, markers, and vocabulary handouts.

Follow Up/HW: Memorize vocabulary 3A and 3B. Write each word from Vocabulary 3B, 4
times in Spanish and 1 in English, due on Friday.
