Double Exposure Double Exposure, or “Multiple Exposure,” is a photographic technique that combines 2 different images into a single image. The technique has been practiced for several years, and it became particularly famous recently, due to the fact that Photoshop can help to create the identical effect. The “original”effect was produced by sandwiching 2 negatives in a darkroom enlarger and working to produce the effect. Take 2 photos: 1 photo that is dominant and 1 photo that will compliment the dominant photo. Make sure they are both in FOCUS. In Photoshop desaturate both images. Go to Image> Adjustments > Destaurate. Move the less dominant image into the Photoshop document with the stronger image. When you move the image it should be the top most layer. Now change the Blending mode to something suitable for your work, so you can see both images. Adjust opacity on top layer so you can see both images! Save as a jpeg First name, ME TIPS: You can also adjust the opacity on the top layer or change the contrast on the bottom layer to make it stand out more. As well as use a layer mask to remove any unwanted “stuff” in your picture. ** For Extra credit you can also do one in color. :)
