Department of Management and Engineering 11 January 2016 Welcome to the best course on earth :-) We warmly welcome you to the course Marketing and Consumer Behaviour! We will have our kickoff Monday, January 25 at 13.15 in room A35. The plan for the first week is to introduce the course and then let you have a few days for reading in the textbook Consumer Behavior, Global Edition by Michael R. Solomon (Edition: 11), Harlow: Pearson Education, 2014). Regarding lectures: We will cover many interesting themes. In some courses the lectures mostly are used for explaining the literature. In this course the lectures aim to complement the literature. Regarding Teamwork assignment: You will get instructions in separate document during the first week of the course. But already now we want to inform you that you shall form teams on your own. We want 4-5 persons in each team. The list will be produced during the first week of the course. Breaking news: This time we have chosen two new recurrent themes for the course. The first theme is London! So prepare for cases from London and discussion about London-related phenomena. The second team is “the green sector actors”, not least farmers and their role as buyers and consumers. More course information will later be put on the Lisam web page.
