Hopsan Classic 1.4.0 Installation Guide

HOPSAN 1.4 Installation Instructions
HOPSAN requires that three programs are installed. HOPSAN itself as well as the LCCWin32 compiler and the fortran2c conversion tool. It is important that the LCCWin32 compiler and fortran2c tool is installed to the correct directory, otherwise simulations in HOPSAN will not work. The LCC
Win32 compiler and the Fortran tool is provided in the HOPSAN installation.
1. Install HOPSAN to a directory of your choice. For this guide it is assumed that the selected directory is the default one C:\HOPSAN
2. Now navigate to the directory C:\HOPSAN\LCC were the provided installation files are located.
3. Install lccwin32.exe to the same folder as the installation file is located in. In this case C:\HOPSAN\LCC. Make sure that it is installed to C:\HOPSAN\LCC and NOT C:\HOPSAN\LCC\lcc. The installer might automatically add \lcc to the end of the path you select.
4. Now install fortran.exe into the same folder. C:\HOPSAN\LCC in the same way.
5. This should be enough to get HOPSAN running. Be sure to read the Installation, Instruction and Tutorial sections in the HOPSAN Users_Guide to get started.
