How to send large files
The mail system Gmail allows sending messages until 25 Mb. So if you want to send a
larger file, you must use another system. In this document you will find the best way to do it.

With which system can I send large files?
The easiest way to send large files is using Google Drive. You have unlimited space, then
you can upload any file as big as your Google Drive space is and from there, send it to any
addressee.
Process to send large files
You need to send a message to an addressee with the large file to download.
1. Click to write your message.
2. In the part below, you will see different options to attach files. The selected one in the
following image, it is to select a file of your Drive
3. It will appear your Drive content.
4. In the case that you do not have any file to send in Drive, click on “Upload” to copy it
on your Drive.

5. Select the file you want. Notice that if the file is larger than 25Mb it appears a pop-up
message which said that you only could send it through a link on drive. In the case that
it could be smaller, you can select between an attached file or a link on drive.
6. Once selected, click on the blue button “Insert”
7. You will see that in the email will appear the file that you have selected as a link. Now
you can write your message.

8. When you select “Send”, if the addressee does not have permission to download that
file, it will ask you for permission to visualize.
9. By default, Gmail offers the option that only the one who can visualize can download.
Click on Share and send.
10. The addressee, whether it have a Gmail account or not, you will receive your
message and you can download the large file.
