Instruction for assignments related to the What is entrepreneurship

Preparations for the "What is entrepreneurship?"? (pass, fail)
You should choose examples independently, but you are required to discuss them with
other students at the seminar.
Deadline: 28 January at 12.00 (submission via Lisam + bring a printout of the form to the
seminar)
a) Before the seminar What is entrepreneurship? you should search for three concrete examples of
entrepreneurship – according to your own opinion. You are allowed to use all available sources
(e.g. newspapers, Internet pages, books, support organisation web sites, academic research
papers). Look for interesting and unusual entrepreneurial stories of all kinds, wherever they are
to be found. Try to find at least one non‐obvious or ‘extreme’ example, which you still think you
can argue is entrepreneurial in some meaningful sense.
Document your examples in the designated form (see below). Briefly describe the example and
explain what you consider to be the distinctly ‘entrepreneurial’ aspects of it, i.e. why do you
consider this to be an example of ‘entrepreneurship’?

Form: What is entrepreneurship for you? Provide three examples!
We intend to use this material as part of a research project, in which we compare the understanding of the concept of ‘entrepreneurship’ of student groups in three
different faculties. You would help us a lot if you provided some information about yourself in addition to your examples. This is not mandatory.
