Bill Provencher bio and photo

R. William Provencher, UW-Madison
Bill Provencher is a Professor in Applied and
Agricultural Economics at UW-Madison. His research
focuses on environmental, resource, and energy
economics. He is currently Director of a 1-year
professional Master’s program in Resource and
Energy Demand Analysis at UW-Madison
(REDA: http://reda.aae.wisc.edu/ ). He is also a
Director at Navigant Consulting, focusing on the
statistical estimation of the impacts of energy
efficiency and demand response programs, including
the impacts of residential real-time energy pricing
programs, smart thermostat rebate programs, direct
load control programs, and web-based behavioral
incentive programs. Bill holds degrees from Cornell,
Duke and UC-Davis.
