Edward Marion, Marion & Maroney, LLC
Ed is a partner in Marion & Maroney LLC, in Madison,
Wisconsin. He practices, exclusively, public utility
regulation. Ed retired from the Public Service Commission
of Wisconsin at the end of 2008. At the PSC, he was
General Counsel and Administrative Law Judge for almost
11 years.
His 42 year-long career also includes Dane county circuit
judge, Governor’s Chief of Staff, Assistant Wisconsin
Attorney General, and partner at Murphy Desmond. S.C.
He was bond counsel for the state of Wisconsin, and a
principal attorney for the state in the areas of taxation,
banking, and securities.
Ed has authored numerous publications over his career,
including last year's "Held Together by Wires: A Primer on Practice and Procedure Before the PSC," in
Wisconsin Lawyer.
