Patrick “P.J.” DiStefano, Partner, Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
P.J. is an audit partner in Deloitte’s Milwaukee office specializing in the
energy & resources industry. He graduated from Marquette University
with a B.A. in Accounting and received his Masters of Business
Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. P.J. has over
17 years of experience in public accounting and has served several
publicly and privately held diversified energy clients. His range of
experience includes performing external audits, due diligence projects
related to mergers and acquisitions, initial public offering readiness and
advising clients on complex accounting matters. P.J. has also served as a
technical resource for Deloitte’s Central region in the areas of financial
instruments, share-based payments and fair valuation matters. He has
extensive experience with Securities and Exchange Commission
requirements and has assisted his clients with several public financings.
In addition to his role on the Board of Wisconsin Public Utility Institute,
P.J. also serves on the Board of Directors for the
Milwaukee Public Museum and is a member of the
Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants
and American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants.
