Duties and Obligations of a Board Member
1.) Serve as an active Board Member by attending meetings of the Board of Trustees.
2.) Serve as an active member of a committee or as an officer of the Board of Trustees
during the tenure on the board.
3.) Participate in and support events organized by the Board of Trustees and the affiliation
with the OSU Board of Trustees.
4.) Contribute a meaningful, unrestricted annual donation or service according to personal
means and circumstances, either from a personal or business source(s).
5.) Provide the names of potential donors for the NCSC Foundation.
6.) Publicize the importance of NCSC to friends, neighbors, organizations and the
community at large.
7.) Study the community to learn its resources, its needs, and its opportunities.
8.) Participate in continuing education/board development.
