lost one Big South game at Williams Stadium
(2013 - Coastal Carolina). Liberty is 20-1 in home
conference contests during that time.

opponent in Liberty football history (trailing
Charleston Southern), as the Runnin’ Bulldogs

ing victory over Gardner-Webb in its 13th season of Big South football. The Flames are 3-2 in

Big South game under head coach Turner Gill was
a come-from-behind 42-35 home win over Gardner-Webb on Oct. 6, 2012. The Flames erased a
28-10 second-half deficit for Gill’s first-ever victory at Liberty.

Liberty Athletics Hall of Famer Robby Justino has
held the program record for passing yards at 9,548
since wrapping up his career in 1992. Junior Josh
Woodrum could put that mark in jeopardy during
his final two seasons with the Flames, and this
chart will track his progress.
Entering the Gardner-Webb game, Woodrum has
thrown for 6,447 yards, putting him 438 yards
ahead of Justino at the same stage of his career.
Justino threw for 331 yards during the eighth game
of his junior season, a 35-34 home setback to No.
14 James Madison.
