New York State Department of Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Services POLICY STATEMENT Supercedes/Updates: New Policy No. 99-03 Date: June 3, 1999 Re: Paramedic Curriculum Page 1 of 1 Paramedic Curriculum On or before September 1, 2000 all approved Paramedic Education Programs must follow the EMT-Paramedic: National Standard Curriculum (1998). The New York State EMS Council approved this curriculum at their May 25, 1999 meeting. Its use will be mandated for all programs starting on or after September 1, 2000.
