The Dover Police Department is currently investigating multiple residential burglaries
that were reported in the city in recent days. Since February 2, 2016, there have been five
different residences that have been broken into, with jewelry having been stolen from
some of them. These incidents have occurred at residences on Cote Drive, Hubbard
Road, County Farm Cross Road, Lexington Street, and Gladiola Way. In all cases, the
perpetrator(s) gained or attempted to gain entry by either forcing open windows or doors.
Dover Police Department detectives are investigating leads in these cases. In the
meantime, the Dover Police Department is urging residents to lock their doors and
windows, and to report any suspicious activity to the police department.
