Colarusso, Jr. Chief of Police Media Release September 18, 2015 Chief Anthony Colarusso of the Dover Police Department announces the arrest of Angela Ferrera, 21, for stealing a firearm. On August 26, 2015, the Dover Police Department investigated a report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Back River Road. A resident reported that someone had entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a semi-automatic pistol from the glove compartment. As a result of the investigation, Dover Police Department detectives obtained a warrant for Ferrera’s arrest on the charge of Theft By Unauthorized Taking. Because the theft was of a firearm, the charge is a Class A felony. Ferrera, of 31 Jackson Street, Rochester, was located in Rochester by the Rochester Police Department and arrested on the DPD warrant. She was then transferred to DPD custody for booking. Ferrera was arraigned in Dover Circuit Court on September 18, 2015, and held on $5,000.00 cash bail. She is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on July 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Seventh Circuit Court – Dover District.
