Chief Anthony Colarusso of the Dover Police Department announces the arrest of Brian
Chambers, 52 years old, for growing marijuana, a felony.
On August 19, 2015, Dover Police Department detectives went to Chambers’ residence at
26 Polly Ann Park in an attempt to serve paperwork to an individual who was reportedly
at that location. The detectives did not locate the individual, but were able to clearly
observe eighteen marijuana plants being grown next to the residence.
The detectives seized the plants in question and obtained an arrest warrant for Chambers.
Chambers was arrested without incident at approximately 8:11 AM on August 26, 2015,
at the Dover Police Department.
Chambers was released on $1,500.00 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be
arraigned in the 7th Circuit court -- Dover District -- on October 16, 2015 at 8:30 AM.
