Welcome to the The Dover Community Trail!
A community trail utilized for exercise and enjoyment, which will also promote “green” transportation by providing an
attractive option for those traveling in the City of Dover.
Please adhere to these rules of courtesy:
Trail is a City of Dover linear park and all City
Park rules apply.
Please do not litter. Trail is a “carry-in/carry-out”
facility.
All dogs must be leashed at all times.
All dog owners are required to pick up dog waste
and dispose of properly.
No motorized vehicles except for wheelchairs.
No fishing from bridge.
Bicyclists please yield to pedestrians.
No possession or use of alcoholic beverages
No fireworks or fires.
No camping.
Please respect adjoining landowners and stay
within trail boundaries.

Trail use hours:
Section between Dover Transportation Center and
Washington Street is open during train and bus service.
Remaining sections of the trail are open:
April 1 - September 30 7:00 a.m - 9:30 p.m.
October 1 - March 31 7:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m.

This Urban Rail Trail was constructed with FHWA Transportation Enhancement Funds with matching
funds from the City of Dover, administered by NHDOT and managed by the Dover Planning Department.
