Carbon Monoxide: Know the Hazards is available as a two-sided 4½” x 10½”
tip strip on a tear-off pad or as a laminated door hanger. It includes
information about generator placement, the hazards of using ovens
or gas ranges for warmth, the dangers of grilling indoors, and the
risks of running gas-powered engines in enclosed spaces. In addition
to naming key CO sources and hazards, the publication provides
general information about carbon monoxide, symptoms of CO
poisoning, and action steps to take if CO poisoning is suspected.
There is space to write in emergency phone numbers battery
replacement dates. These pads are appropriate for stores where
generators are sold, appliance stores, fire departments, municipal
offices, libraries, community events, and fuel companies.
