MPS Weekly Update
29 October 2015
TONIGHT
Sussex Universe lecture series
Thursday 29 October 7pm
Chichester 1 Lecture Theatre
The most recent MPS cake event, in the form of two Rubik’s cubes, was to
mark the end of Dr Miro Chlebik’s term of office as Head of Mathematics and
to say farewell and bon voyage (to the hallowed portals of Sussex House
and the ADQE office) to Matthew Tiernan.
Miro was presented with a glass paperweight, containing ‘a single star in the
dark sky to wish upon’, to thank him for his time in office and, after a heartfelt
speech by Oonagh, Matt was presented with a generous bag of goodies,
part of which will seek continue his cerebral, culinary and sartorial
advancement.

To anyone who uses the water
cooler on the 3A corridor, if you
notice that the drip tray is
becoming full, please empty it
rather than let it overflow or leave it for someone else
to empty. There are numerous plants outside which
would benefit from some extra H20.
Thank you!
