Policy Concerning Requests for Public Art Installations
It is the policy of the City of Dover to accept and review all applications from area artists proposing to
install public art within or upon public facilities owned and maintained by the City of Dover.
Applications are reviewed by both the Dover Arts Commission and the City Manager. Upon the
recommendation of the Arts Commission and City Manager, applications are forwarded to the City
Council for final approval.
