Business Management Monday Lesson Plan: <9/22 to 9/26/2014> Objective: Students will demonstrate understandings of the management concepts, the impact of international business on our own economy, and social responsibility in business. Activities: 1. Students will finish working on individual projects they selected 2. Students will submit the assignment 3. Students will work on entrepreneurship on Everfi at their own pace Assessment: Research project Materials: PCs, HUB, assignment sheet, rubrics Follow Up/HW: Individual projects due end of today Tuesday Objective: Students will demonstrate understandings of the management concepts, the impact of international business on our own economy, and social responsibility in business. Activities: 1. Students will work on entrepreneurship on Everfi at their own pace. 2. Students will make sure to submit all assignments and tests for the Unit. Assessment: Observations on progress Materials: PCs, HUB, assignment sheet, rubrics; Everfi Follow Up/HW: Individual projects due end of yesterday Wed/Thur Objective: Students will analyze the reasons why a business plan is necessary, identify the component of a business plan and planning tools, and create a business plan for a virtual business. Activities: 1. Present the presentation slides and ask questions and discuss important topics on Business Planning 2. Students will answer the questions and participate in the discussions. 3. Students will make notes. 4. Students will work on the “mix-it-up project in pair Assessment: Class participation , notes Materials: PP presentation, PCs, projector, pencils, notes; Mix-it-UP Follow Up/HW: Class notes; Group project Friday Objective: Students will analyze the reasons why a business plan is necessary, identify the component of a business plan and planning tools, and create a business plan for a virtual business. Activities: 1. Students will continue working on the group project. 2. Students will present their work as they finish. Assessment: Class participation , notes Materials: PCs, pens, Practice assignment sheet, rubrics Follow Up/HW: Case studies in group *Plans are subject to modifications at the teacher’s discretion.
