HOLIDAY
Tuesday
Objective: The student will demonstrate an understanding of the management concept and is
expected to define the term mgmt, and explain mgmt. functions, roles, evolution, & influence.
Activities:
1. Show the Presentation on Revolution of Management
2. Discuss the difference between Leader vs Manager, Functions and Importance of
Managers, Early Management, and Influences on Management
3. Students will take notes
4. Students will take the exit quiz on Kahoot
Assessment: Kahoot quiz,
Materials: Power Point, projector, PCs, online quiz, pens
Follow Up/HW: Signed agreement, Motivational words by Leaders on poster
Wed/Thur
Objective: The student will demonstrate an understanding of the management concept and is
expected to define the term mgmt, and explain mgmt. functions, roles, evolution, & influence.
Activities:
1. Complete the presentation and discussion
2. Students will complete the note taking and review
3. Take the online test on Edmodo and submit
4. Students in pairs will begin thinking of a social problem, who will be affected by it,
and possible solutions that management of businesses can implement to help alleviate
the problem. Students can select a country and research the concepts of the different
political systems in the county, the type of economic-political system, and how they
think business would be conducted in that country (how decisions would be made
regarding prices, production, and other pertinent factors). Students will present their
findings to the class.
Assessment: Online test
Materials: Online test, PCs for research
Follow Up/HW: Signed agreement, poster, research and presentation
Friday
Objective: The student will demonstrate an understanding of the management concept and is
expected to define the term mgmt, and explain mgmt. functions, roles, evolution, & influence.
Activities:
1. Students will continue researching their application topics and present to Class
2. Introduce Independent Practice for the next week and give rubrics.
Assessment: Research and presentation
Materials: PCs, pens, Practice assignment sheet, rubrics
Follow Up/HW: Signed agreement/ Practice assignment
