Effective Communication in the Workplace Description Communication done effectively often contributes to success of the individual, the project and the outcomes. In this course participants will learn how to understand different communication styles, effectively communicate, and handle communication through conflict. In addition, material will cover how to impart professionalism in presentations, demonstrate expertise in written or oral communication and use of persuasion for project's mission. Attendees will engage in equal parts lecture and practice. In addition, she has owned two consulting businesses and teaches public relations to businesses at Truckee Meadows Community College and the University of Nevada Extended Studies Program.
