Creating a Culture of Awareness at RIT to Help Keep Children Safe
While our primary mission at RIT is not focused on children they are participants inside our community. As educators, parents, siblings and
citizens we care that children engaged in activities offered by and at RIT are safe while they are here.
There are NYS regulations governing formal programs which children participate in and mandated reports who work or volunteer in summer
camps and daycare. In addition, there are other opportunities where RIT faculty, staff and students interact with youth visiting campus or
engaged in activities. We encourage members of this community to raise their awareness about keeping children safe through use of the
