START HERE Did you attend a Colorado high school for 3 or more years? NO YES Colorado ASSET, passed by the state legislature in 2013, allows qualified undocumented students to pay in-state tuition to attend a Colorado college or university. You should be eligible for Colorado ASSET in-state tuition. Please apply to the school of your choice and they will make the final determination of eligibility. NO You are not eligible for Colorado ASSET. If you have received deferred status some colleges may still allow you in-state tuition. Did you graduate high school before September 1, 2013? YES To qualify for Colorado ASSET in-state tuition a student must: 1 Have attended a public or private high school in Colorado for at least three years immediately preceding graduation or completing a GED in Colorado 2 Be admitted to or already attend a public college or university in Colorado within 12 months of graduation 3 Sign an affidavit stating they have applied for lawful presence or will apply as soon as they are able NOTE: If the student graduated or got their GED before September 1, 2013, there are different qualifying criteria that can be found on our website. YES Did you or will you attend or be accepted to a Colorado public college within 12 months of graduating high school and be continuously enrolled since then?
