The BA Studio Art Major requires 60 credit hours in art, of which 30 must be taken at DU or with DU Faculty. Excess art credit will not count.
Credit earned with less than a “C-” grade cannot be applied toward fulfillment of a major or minor. Of the 183 credits required for the BA degree, a
minimum of 75 credit hours must be upper division (2000-3000 level).
A student may register for a maximum of 10 independent study credits. ARTS 3915 Advanced Problems In Art may be taken in studio areas where all
courses in a sequence have been completed.
The BA student must complete either a minor or a second major.
