2015-2016 Marshall Memorial Fellowship
The nomination process for the 2015-16 Marshall
Memorial Fellowship program is open July
15-September 29. We invite you to nominate
potential fellows from the United States and Europe
who meet the guidelines illustrated below. The
deadline for nominations is Monday, September
29, 2014 at 5:00 pm EDT. Online nominations can

Nomination Criteria
Candidates for MMF must demonstrate:
• Proven leadership capacity and creativity
• A profound sense of integrity
• A commitment to diversity, in terms of profession, gender, ethnicity, and other markers
• A desire to effect real and lasting change in their local communities
• Proven ability to apply their new knowledge and networks in their communities upon return
• A commitment to transatlantic and global engagement
• A commitment to remaining a steward of the transatlantic agenda throughout their careers
Guidelines for Nominators:
1) Your candidate must be a citizen or
permanent resident of the United States or
one of the European countries listed on the
GMF website as a current selection site.
2) Your candidate must be aged between 28
and 40 on the day that applications for the
fellowship open, which is October 6, 2014.
3) Your candidate must be fluent in English and be available for 24 consecutive days of travel in either October 2015 or April 2016.
4) You may nominate only one individual per year. If you have been invited to serve on a selection committee, you must refrain from nominating candidates this year altogether.
