Dean’s Fellowship Nomination Form
Dean’s Fellowships are to be used to recruit the best students to NSM doctoral programs. Unlike
GTAs and GRAs, Dean’s Fellows are not required to perform any type of service and are expected
to devote their time to the mastery of their coursework and the establishment of a research
program for the doctoral dissertation. All fellowship recipients are expected to take a full course
load each quarter during the academic year and to be working full-time on their research during
the summer.

February 1.
