Don C. Smith is an Associate
Professor of the Practice of Law
at the University of Denver
Sturm College of Law. He is also
a 2015-2017 Guest Professor at
the Zhengzhou University School
of Law. He has a Juris Doctorate
degree from the Washburn
University School of Law and a
Master’s in Law from the
University of Leicester, England,
Faculty of Law. He is a licensed
attorney. From 2010-2015 he
was director of the Sturm College of Law Environmental and Natural
Resources Law program. He edits the International Bar Association’s
Journal of Energy & Natural Resources Law. Before joining the Sturm
College of Law faculty, he served in publishing positions for McGrawHill and Elsevier Science.
