Li Li Peters is an associate professor at the department of Literatures and Languages. She is the coordinator of Chinese Program and Director for Asian Studies in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, the University of Denver. Having translated and compiled anthologies of translation of English language poetry in her earlier career, she has published, in recent years, a dozen articles on modern and contemporary Chinese literature, popular culture and media studies. Her book entitled Memory, Fluid Identity, and Politics of Remembering in the Representation of the Chinese Cultural Revolution in English-speaking Countries is forthcoming, and a co-editing volume of critical essays on socialist culture/literature and its many intriguing incarnations in the postsocialist era is currently under review.
