The Rt Hon Lord Justice Floyd The Rt Hon Lord Justice Floyd is a Lord Justice of Appeal and a member of the Privy Council. He took a degree in natural science and law from Cambridge and was called to the bar in 1975. Prior to his appointment as Lord Justice of Appeal, Sir Christopher Floyd served as Senior Judge of the Patents Court. Michael Edenborough Michael Edenborough, QC, is an IP barrister with chambers at Serle Court. Michael has a technical background in the chemical sciences (MA, Cambridge; DPhil, Oxford), but accepts instructions on a broad array of IP issues. He is also a founding member of the RSC Law Group. He can be contacted at [email protected]. Michael Knospe Michael Knospe is a partner in the Intellectual Property Group of S J Berwin and is based in Munich. Michael particularly focuses on complex patent litigation across a range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical devices and has in depth experience regarding coordinated international patent litigation strategies. Nae Matsuda Nae Matsuda is a patent attorney in the Chemical group of Nakamura & Partners in Tokyo. She has held litigation rights since 2006 and her practice includes infringement opinion work, invalidation trials in the Patent Office and patent litigation in court. Stephen Sharp Stephen Sharp heads the Life Sciences and Chemical practice group at Griffith Hack, recognised as Australia’s leading IP specialist firm. A patent attorney and a solicitor, Stephen has a technical background in chemistry. Don Lewis Don Lewis is a partner with Lewis Kohn & Fitzwilliam, LLP, a San Diego law firm specializing in issues relating to technology and innovation. Don has law degrees from both the US and the UK and is a practising attorney‐at‐law in California. He is also licensed to practise before both the USPTO and the Canadian IPO. He is admitted to the WIPO roster of arbitration neutrals and remains on the Law Society Roll as a non‐practising solicitor. He was a founding member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Division of Chemistry and the Law (CHAL) and helped found the RSC Law Group, which he presently chairs. He has a PhD in biophysics and was elected a Fellow of the RSC, in part, for his contributions to the early development of Click Chemistry. Lola A Bartoszewicz Dr. Lola A. Bartoszewicz is a partner and heads the patent practice group at Canadian patent firm Sim & McBurney in Toronto, part of SIM IP Practice, a full service Canadian IP litigation and prosecution firm.
