THE UNIVERSITY OF DENVER | GRADUATE SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK |PhD PROGRAM Lisa LangenderferMagruder [email protected] EDUCATION University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work Doctor of Philosophy, June 2016 (expected) Dissertation: Working the Front Lines of Intimate Partner Violence: Responders' Perceptions of Interrole Collaboration Florida State University College of Social Work Master of Social Work, April 2011 Clinical Track Florida State University Bachelor of Science, May 2009 Psychology and Sociology RESEARCH INTERESTS My primary interest is interpersonal violence, with a focus on intimate partner violence. Specifically, I am interested in examining partner violence in vulnerable populations as well as how service providers in various roles collaborate to address partner violence. I also have an interest in high-risk youth, including homeless and LGBTQ youth and their experiences with victimization. TEACHING INTERESTS Given my research and professional history, I am primarily interested in teaching non-clinical introductory social work and research-related courses, such as Research Methods, Program Evaluation, and Social Work with Communities and Organizations. I am also interested in teaching elective courses centering on partner violence. I enjoy teaching in both traditional and online classrooms.
