RESEARCH INTERESTS
My primary interest is interpersonal violence, with a focus on intimate partner
violence. Specifically, I am interested in examining partner violence in vulnerable
populations as well as how service providers in various roles collaborate to address
partner violence. I also have an interest in high-risk youth, including homeless and
LGBTQ youth and their experiences with victimization.
TEACHING INTERESTS
Given my research and professional history, I am primarily interested in teaching
non-clinical introductory social work and research-related courses, such as
Research Methods, Program Evaluation, and Social Work with Communities and
Organizations. I am also interested in teaching elective courses centering on partner
violence. I enjoy teaching in both traditional and online classrooms.
