Estlow/Margolin Lecturer Lourdes Garcia-Navarro: Parallel Lives: Stories from
an Interconnected World
On April 14 and 15, the University welcomes National Public Radio International
Correspondent Lourdes Garcia-Navarro to campus. Garcia-Navarro has been
reporting on the Zika virus in South America, and in the past has contributed
outstanding reports on the relationship of the Brazilian rainforest to climate change.
She was one of the first reporters to enter Libya after the 2011 Arab Spring. She will
be speaking with classes, meeting with students, and serving as the keynote speaker
for the University’s Internationalization Summit. Students, faculty, and staff
associated with MFJS will all be presenting their work at the Internationalization
