Call for Proposals TIGER TALKS: A Faculty Showcase To be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 The goal of RIT’s TIGER TALKS is to showcase the wide diversity of faculty talent at RIT with a 30 minute, carefully prepared talk, demonstration or performance followed by a 5 minute audience Q & A. This multidisciplinary event is focused on fostering community, connection, learning and fun! Anything goes—as long as there is something to be learned! Showcase proposals are being accepted from all RIT faculty. The Showcase will enable faculty to: Connect and learn something new Teach and share a skill or interest you love Share your scholarly work, research or grant-funded projects Learn more about your faculty colleagues @ RIT Guidelines for presenting: Spirit & Purpose: This multidisciplinary event is focused on fostering community, connection, learning and fun! Date/Time/Venue: As one of our Destination Intersession offerings, TIGER TALKS will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015. If selected, you will be notified of your exact scheduled time and location and more details about the event. Submitting your Call for Proposal (CFP) Proposals will be accepted online until Friday, November 7, 2014, 5 pm. The selection committee will notify those selected by Monday, November 17. All faculty are welcome to submit a proposal, but submission does not guarantee selection.
