December Kindergarten News
Kindergarten has been busy with all of the excitement of Christmas, the Christmas
music program, and all the other activities that dominate this time of the year. The
school Christmas program will be held on Thursday, December 17th at 1:45 and
6:30 p.m. in the gym. For the 6:30 performance, please bring your child to the
Kindergarten classrooms. Doors open at 6:10. You can pick your child up in
his/her classroom. Students may dress up on this day, please no jeans.
WINTER - BRR!!
Winter weather is here. Hats and mittens are essential for keeping those little ones
warm! PLEASE make sure all of your childʼs coats, hats, mittens, gloves,
headbands, sweatshirts, etc. are labeled with their name. Due to the muddy spots
on the field we are asking that students wear boots daily and bring a pair of shoes
to wear throughout the day inside the school. Their boots will keep their little toes
dry and warm and their shoes will keep our school nice and clean!! Your child
must have snow pants to play on the field at recess… when there is snow on the
ground.
Sight Words
DON’T FORGET! PLEASE practice sight words with your child NIGHTLY! By
knowing these sight words it will help your child become a better reader.
