Minor (20+ quarter hours) You are required to also have a minor degree from any area of concentration at the university (this requirement is waived if you have a double major). As a GEOG major, you cannot minor in GISc. Courses taken for minors, such as Sustainability or Environmental Science, cannot double count towards your GEOG major. 5. Minimum quarter hours required for a Univ. of Denver BA is 183; 75 hours must be upper-level (2000 or 3000).
