Cisco Smart+Connected Residential
Demo House for Real Estate Developers
The Cisco® Smart+Connected Residential Solution is an integral part of Cisco Smart+Connected
Communities™, allowing residents to conveniently control lighting, air conditioning and heating,
gas, curtains, and most other home devices using simple touchscreen wall pads, remote controls,
smart devices, computers, and tablets. Since the IP infrastructure is built right into the home, a
variety of applications can also bring the community closer to the homeowner. Residents can also
use the integrated IP network to access value-added community services such as communitywide
video communications and community notifications, as well as intelligent tutoring and municipal
services such as police, fire, and emergency notifications.
The Cisco Smart+Connected™ Residential Demo House is an easy-to-order set of equipment that
showcases the Smart+Connected Residential Solution. Each demo house includes a complete
product list of devices for a Silver, Gold or Platinum installation (products are ordered individually).
Use the Smart+Connected Residential Demo House to demonstrate a unique living experience for
the residence, thereby differentiating your property and enhancing its perceived value.

Features and Benefits
The Cisco Smart+Connected Residential Demo House is offered as a Silver, Gold or Platinum
Package to simplify ordering and installation. Each demo house can be customized to meet the
needs of your demographic.
Silver Package
The entry-level Silver Package demonstrates lighting and temperature controls in a single room
using a remote control and also includes the security feature of a door lock integrated into the
home. The Silver Package is recommended for basic luxury properties or small residences with up
to two bedrooms. The Silver Package can also be offered as an entry point for new buyers,
allowing them to upgrade to additional capabilities―such as distributed audio or front door video
intercom―if desired.
Gold Package
The mid-range Gold Package demonstrates a two-room experience―for example, a living room
and master bedroom―in an enhanced luxury property. Residents can use the touchscreen display
to control a range of home control and management services like lighting and temperature
controls. The Gold Package comes with security features such as door lock, front door video, and
video intercom. Additional features, such as distributed audio, can be added if desired.
Platinum Package
The high-end Platinum Package showcases a complete home control and management solution
that includes multiple devices in several rooms and a distributed audio (music) feature that
enables advanced home-theater configuration. The Platinum Package is recommended for highend luxury properties (or penthouses within the property). The package can also be expanded to
include advanced capabilities such as a dedicated home theatre and living-room-based controls.
