Genus: Chlorops
Family: Chloropidae
Common name: Chloropidae is a family of flies commonly
known as frit flies or grass flies
Distribution: The fly is widespread in South, North, Central
Europe, North America, Africa, and Japan
Note: The majority of the larvae are phytophagous, mainly on
grasses. They are caught frequently on sticky cards placed
near potato fields.
FYI: Trap 0 was not collected due to spraying.
